Jacqueline Fernandez, who has signed two international projects by now, had recently made a hush-hush trip to the 68th Cannes Film Festival. The Sri Lankan beauty had walked the red carpet with the Queen of Malaysia on the latter’s personal request. She had also attended the Monaco Grand Prix.
Jacqueline later jetted off for supermodel Naomi Campbell’s private yacht party, where she was among the few to ring in the model’s 45th birthday. The party later shifted to a private chateau, where people like Leonardio DiCaprio, Kendall Jenner, Chris Brown were present, among others.
At the party, Jacqueline happened to meet Oscar winning actor Adrien Brody, who is famous for his roles in The Pianist, The Grand Budapest Hotel, etc. The two spoke at length about India, the West’s obsession with Indian culture and more.
A source close to Fernandez informed us, “Jacqueline has a lot of respect for Adrien’s work and loves his films The Pianistand Midnight in Paris. Adrien spoke highly of bollywood and Hindi films. He also mentioned to Jackie that he has been to India twice, and shooting for The Darjeeling Limited in India had helped him connect to his spiritual side. Jackie invited hm to the country for another trip since he enjoys India’s rich culture and the warmth of the people.”
Jacqueline’s spokesperson confirmed the news, “Yes, Jacqueline met Adrien Brody at Naomi Cambell’s party and they spoke at length about films, and Adrien’s plans to revisit India.”
As far as her work in India is concerned, Fernandez was last seen in the film
