Shahid Kapoor, who is tying the knot with Delhi girl Mira Rajput sometime this year, had apparently informed ex-girlfriendKareena Kapoor Khan about the same. In an interview to DNA, Kareena said that Shahid had told her that he was getting married.
Asked to share her thoughts on Shahid’s marriage, Kareena said, “I wish him all the best. It’s a great decision. I met him at YRF (Yash Raj Films) a few months ago, and he told me that he was getting married and I congratulated him.”
A couple of months back, when director Vishal Bhardwaj roped in Saif Ali Khan - Kareena’s husband, and Shahid – Kareena’s ex-boyfriend for his film Rangoon, the grapevine was abuzz with rumours that Kareena, too, would be part of the film. However, this coup d’etat didn’t work out finally, and Rangoon went to Kangana Ranaut, instead.
