Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on Wednesday (October 8) participated in a Unicef-initiated nutrition programme organised by a local women’s group at Kapilvastu in western Nepal.
Aamir Khan, who is Unicef’s Ambassador promoting nutrition for children, arrived in Kathmandu Tuesday.
The Indian cine icon spent around an hour at the Pakadi Health Post in the district where health officials and women volunteers made a presentation on local nutrition status. After attending the programme, Aamir left for Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Gautama Buddha.
