Today’s Big Releases: Traffic and Captain America: Civil War

Actor Manoj Bajpayee’s Traffic releases today. Traffic is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam film of the same name and stars Manoj as a traffic policeman. It is inspired by an actual event that happened in Chennai.

Manoj said that he loved the original film. “I was enamoured after seeing the original film. It’s a great story, which is inspirational,” said Manoj told news agency PTI.

Traffic also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee and Divya Dutta.

Other Hindi films such as Sunny Leone’s One Night Stand and Sharman Joshi’s 1920 London will also release today. Priyanka Chopra‘s cousin Meera also features in 1920 London.

Superhero film lovers are in for a treat as Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War releases today. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson in the lead roles. Captain America: Civil War is a sequel to 2011′s The First Avenger and 2014′s The Winter Soldier.

Other regional films like Yo! Yo! Honey Singh’s Zorawar will release today.
