Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan’s story of illicit love, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, releases today. Directed by Mohit Suri, the movie also stars National Award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao, as the third point of the triangle. The romantic drama is loosely based on the lives of producer Mahesh Bhatt’s parents and stepmother.
After playing an aspiring detective in Bobby Jasoos, Vidya will appear in the role of a wife torn between her husband and her lover.
The title track of the movie, sung by Arijit Singh, has already garnered a fan following.
Meanwhile, big budget Hollywood film Jurassic World, fourth in the Jurassic Park movies, released yesterday. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the sci-fi drama is set on Isla Nublar, the same location as Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park but 22 years later. The movie features a newly constructed biological preserve with a zoo and a theme park housing living dinosaurs.
Other than actors Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, BD Wong, and Omar Sy, the movie also stars Irrfan Khan who plays the role of park owner Simon Masrani.
