“A lot of fans have been asking for it. Now it has become a casual conversation in the team that may be we might do a sequel. Like Baaghi happened organically, it (sequel) should happen the same way,” Sabbir told PTI in an interview.

The director says he will “definitely” try to come up with something nice for all the love that audience has given to the film.

“We need to get the right story, not do it just because we want to do it as a project, then there’s no fun. People have loved it so much, so it is our responsibility to give them a good film. We will definitely try to do something nice,” he said.

In Baaghi, Tiger was seen doing Kalaripayattu, a martial art form and indulged in many intense action scenes.

Sabbir said that there are “healthy talks” between him and the 26-year-old actor for a possible sequel.

“Tiger and I don’t take each other for granted. We both are very competitive, want to push and raise the bar. There are healthy talks, everybody wants Baaghi 2, that’s the word going around now. So, casual conversations have started.”

The action-drama has not only netted solid collections but has also been praised for its stylised action sequences.

Sabbir, who made his debut as director with Kambakkht Ishq, feels action films do not get the due respect and says he never makes a movie for “good reviews.”

“An action film or a comedy where you are trying to make a mainstream film never gets the sort of respect it needs. But at the end of the day, I am a filmmaker, who will make the film for the audience. I am not making it for somebody to write a good review. That is wrong,” he said.

The Heropanti director says today there is an added pressure on a director to keep a tab at the box office even though he or she may not want to.

“I am not a numbers guy but you can’t run away from it now. Somebody or the other is always posting on social media, calling you with the numbers. There is box office pressure today, but we went there smiling. We didn’t think it will happen but it did. So even in the future, I hope I don’t think about numbers and make a film, but make it genuinely,” he said.

Tiger was recently spotted with Disha at a multiplex. When asked about their relationship at an event to promote Baaghi, he said: “She’s too cool for me, she’s way out of my league. Kaash! (I wish) She is a very beautiful girl. She’s too good for me. I’m the most ‘uncool’ person, I wish if somebody likes me,” he said.

Tiger and Disha have reportedly been dating for quite some time now, with Tiger also helping her with her dance moves. About his next film, Baaghi, Tiger said, “Our trailer is doing quite well, so I am very thankful. It is a big thing to receive so much love so early, I’ve gotten more than I deserve.”

Baaghi, directed by Sabbir Khan and also starring Shraddha Kapoor, hits theatres on April 29.

A Flying Jatt, also starring Australian wrestler-turned-actor Nathan Jones, will release in summer this year.

Mr Khan, who made his debut as a director with the 2009 film Kambakkht Ishq, took to microblogging site Twitter on August 7 to appreciate Tiger and Shraddha’s hard work over the “crazy” shoot.

At the promo shoot of his upcoming dance reality show Dance Plus, Remo said: “Actually you journalists have received false news. I’m doing an action film with Tiger which is going on the floors at the end of this month. I haven’t even thought about ABCD 3, so how can Tiger be a part of it?”

In the film which is tentatively titled Flying Sikh or Flying Jat, Tiger has been paired opposite Jacqueline Fernandez. It is being produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Ltd.

Meanwhile, Remo’s ABCD 2, starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, is slowly inching towards the Rs 100-crore club.

Of its success, Remo said: “I think it will cross the Rs 100-crore mark this week and I’m extremely delighted with the response. I would like to thank the fans for their love, specifically their love in the form of money. I’m hoping that they continue giving me their love and that I continue making such films.”

Tiger is currently busy with Sabbir Khan’s Baaghi co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. His music video Zindagi Aa Raha Hu Main with singer Atif Aslam has also been appreciated by the audience.

But while that may seem to lend itself to a whole new set of Tiger jokes, it looks like the actor is the one who could be having the last laugh. Tiger’s first and last film was Heropanti which released over a year ago but the actor, dancer and martial arts expert hasn’t seen a dip in popularity. Quite a crowd reportedly gathered recently to catch a glimpse of the actor when he was shooting for his next with Shraddha Kapoor. That’s perhaps because he’s figured out an interesting way to stay relevant in between his big screen outings which will be two years apart as his next film releases only in 2016.Tiger’s recent music video Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon main garnered approximately seven million hits on YouTube and clearly there’s never too much of a good thing.

Tiger reportedly now has another music video coming out at the end of June with the same team and a new addition,Heropanti co-star Kriti Sanon. The two certainly seem to have limbered up as was evident on International Yoga Day and it’s not a stretch to say that Tiger’s upcoming video has all the ingredients of a roaring hit with the teeny boppers. We’re guessing, going by Tiger’s style, it will have an inspirational bent and enough twists and turns to keep it from being too preachy. It seems that Tiger is on the right trail to take on the jungle out there.
