Anupam Kher, who is currently in Ranchi to promote his forthcoming production venture ‘Ranchi Diaries’, visited Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s home. Anupam along with this film’s team also got to meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das to thank him for the support that the government extended to the film.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who is currently in Ranchi to promote his forthcoming production venture ‘Ranchi Diaries’, visited ace wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s home. He said that the cricketer’s 2-year-old daughter Ziva is a “genius and an entertainer”.

Anupam Kher is back as a producer and this time, it is for Ranchi Diaries. Since his last production venture Maine Gandhi Ko Mahi Maara was critically acclaimed, one expected Kher to produce more films. However, that did not happen because the film did not work commercially for Anupam.
Anupam Kher is all set to wear the film producer’s hat once again. This time for Ranchi Diaries. Since his last production venture Maine Gandhi Ko Mahi Maara was critically acclaimed, one expected Kher to produce more films. However, that did not happen.
Infact, he recently shared how he wanted to pursue production more, but it didn’t happen. He said, “With the last film I produced, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Maara, I wanted to be a tycoon but I almost went bankrupt. I really did this. Nothing worked. I wanted an ‘Anupam Kher Studio Limited’, and then I realised I didn’t even have five thousand rupees.”

Madhur Bhandarkar film Indu Sarkar honoured at Norway’s Bollywood Festival

Madhur Bhandarkar has been honoured with an award for his recent release Indu Sarkar. The actor attended Bollywood Festival in Norway where he felt thrilled to receive an award from Norwegian Culture Minister Linda Catherine. The film had released in July this year.
Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Indu Sarkar received a warm reception apart from actors Kriti Kulhari and Neil Nitin Mukesh winning hearts for portraying their respective characters. And now, the director has added yet another feather to his cap as his film garnered great response abroad too. Madhur Bhandarkar and his film Indu Sarkar was honoured at Bollywood Festival in Norway. The director shared a picture, crediting his actors and rest of the team for getting such a good film together.

From Saaransh to Dirty Politics – veteran actor Anupam Kher has completed 31 years in Hindi cinema. He said it has been an “amazing journey”.

The 60-year-old actor’s big ticket debut came with Mahesh Bhatt’s Saaransh in 1984, in which he was seen in the role of a retired middle class Maharashtrian man who loses his son.

He played the role of an old man when he was just all of 28. He even bagged the Filmfare Best Actor Award for his performance.

Since then, Mr Kher has entertained the audience with a mix of films in the comedy and drama genres and has also played the villain such as his acclaimed role as terrorist Dr Dang in Karma in 1986.

Unveiled: Motion poster of Akshay Kumar’s ‘The Shaukeens’

The first motion poster of ‘The Shaukeens’ starring Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra, has been released.

The teaser has the tagline ‘a coming of age comedy’ and features the voice of the three lecherous old men (played by Kher, Mishra and Kapoor) planning a trip to Bangkok for a fun holiday.

“‘The Shaukeens’ are coming on November 7! Here’s the motion poster. What do you guys think?” Akshay, who is also the producer of the movie, posted on Twitter along with the link of the poster.
