Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay shelved due to budget issues?

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has postponed his home production Shivaay, which would also mark his directorial debut. But according to the latest buzz, the film has been pushed for an indefinite period of time and there are possibilities that it could be shelved.

A leading tabloid quoted a source as saying,”Shivaay is a big budget film and around Rs.8-9 crore have already been spent on extensive research and pre-production. Hence, Ajay is sceptical about starting the project now as he feels that the film might go way over budget.”

The actor recently came back from Canada without shooting a single scene of the film because the snowfall in the city was not up to the mark.

Superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh with dancing legends Prabhudheva and Ganesh Acharya have come together for the video of a song ‘Birju’ of an upcoming movie ‘Hey Bro’. Singer Mika Singh, who has sung the track with Udit Narayan, shared the video on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The song has a touch of humour, with stars asking a certain Birju — whose identity is not revealed in the video — to return bangles with lyrics “Maa ke kangan wapis karde re”.

‘Action Jackson’ trailer: Ajay Devgn flaunts chiseled abs and impresses with cutting-edge action sequences

Ajay Devgn is just getting better with each passing day , not only in terms of his acting but also his looks. The new trailer of ‘Action Jackson’ shows a feiry Ajay Devgn flaunting his 6 pack abs and performing daredevil stunts. As the name suggests, the movie is full of action and the fight sequences in the trailer are jaw-dropping.

Directed by Prabhu Deva, the movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam , Manasvi Mamgai, Sonu Sood and Kunal Roy Kapur. It is slated to release on December 5. This is for the first time that Ajay is working with the talented director.

“Singham’ star Ajay Devgn today called on the underprivileged children to pursue education for a bright future and to uplift their lives. “Our country and future is in the hands of children. I urge you all to go to schools and lighten up your lives and grow up in future,” said Devgn, who is a father of two kids. The 45-year-old actor was speaking at ‘Project Parivartan’ programme, an initiative by Mumbai Police in association with Women & Child Welfare Department and Tribal Development Department, organised at Bhartiya Vidhyabhavan auditorium in south Mumbai.
