The teaser starts with glimpses showing Shah Rukh’s phenomenal fan following across the globe – shots include fans swarming at the gate of his Mumbai residence, Mannat and waiting for his glimpse at his concerts. Fans dressed like his character roles, and those who broke down when Shah Rukh simply ‘touched’ them.
It also included ear-numbing shouts when Shah Rukh struck his signature pose.
From that the scene shifts focus to sabse bade superstar ka sabse bada fan. We don’t get to see his face, but we know who he is as the screen fades just as he prepares to pose in SRK’s signature style.
YRF also revealed the film’s release date – April 15, next year. Like a common fan, this too is a common date and no big festive release. Earlier the film was slated to release on August 14.
The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma of Band Baaja Baaraat fame.
