Actor Shah Rukh Khan says he just wants positive things to happen to his upcoming film Dilwale.
The MNS-affiliated Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena had appealed to people to boycott the film which stars SRK and Kajol in the lead roles. It alleged that the actor had ?ignored the plight of farmers reeling under severe drought?.
Asked to respond, Shah Rukh, 50, said, “Before the film’s release it’s better if you ask me questions about the film, because we have been so caught up with work, we don’t understand other things. But God willing, everything good will happen with our film.”
SRK was speaking at a party to celebrate the success of the film?s music held in Mumbai on Monday.
MNS Chitrapat Karmachari Sena chief Amey Khopkar had said they were not seeking a ban on the film but were appealing to people to boycott the film as ?SRK is taking Maharashtra for granted.?
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Dilwale, which also co-stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon releases this Friday.
