Bollywood’s ‘it’ couple, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are expecting their first child in December and seem to be preparing a checklist to deal with the impending arrival. This includes moving to a bigger house early next year, a well-placed source informs us. They currently reside in Bandra.
“Saif and Kareena are considering shifting to another high-rise in Khar in January. It is the same property that they had bought three years ago for Rs 48 crore. It is their dream home. It only makes sense to move in there after the baby arrives. Work is currently underway to create nursery space,” says the source.
The couple had bought four floors of the plush apartment with each floor having 3BHK apartments of 3,000 sq feet each. Celebrity interior designer Nozer Wadia (who has designed homes for celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Gautam Singhania and Arjun Rampal) is said to be looking after the home design and aesthetics.
Bebo is currently in the first trimester of her pregnancy. We hear the fiercely private actress has been having two of the city’s best gynaecologists visiting her at home for routine check-ups.
As far as professional commitments go, Kareena will start shooting for a chick flick titled Veere Di Wedding next month with Sonam Kapoor. She will also complete four magazine and ad shoots before going on maternity leave. For this, the actress will shuttle between Delhi and Mumbai and will shoot simultaneously for the film.
