Ranveer Singh, who was in Kuala Lumpur for the ongoing IIFA (Indian International Film Academy) Awards, flew down to Bangalore to be by his girlfriend Deepika Padukone. The occasion – it was Padukone Sr’s birthday. The former badminton star, Prakash Padukone turned 60 on June 5, and his daughter made sure the night was one to remember.
Along with her younger sister Anisha, Deepika threw a lavish party at an upscale hotel in Bangalore. In attendance were the Padukones’ friends and acquaintances. From among the photos doing the rounds of social networking sites, one could spot singer Prajakta Shukre, too, among the guests.
Once done with the celebrations, Ranveer flew back to the Malaysian capital for the IIFA awards. The actor is hosting the event along with Arjun Kapoor.
