Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif has been excited like a schoolgirl while collaborating with sculptors and artists of the prestigious Madame Tussauds museum in London where her wax statue will be installed soon.
She has been giving measurements to Tussauds’ creative team which has been in Mumbai for the purpose. A team of 20 artists will work on Katrina’s life-size wax figure that will cost £1,50,000 ( Rs.1.46 crore). The actress will be in London to unveil the figure on its completion in Spring 2015. Keeping in mind Katrina’s on-screen image, her statue will feature her striking a dancing pose. Every year, Madam Tussauds conducts an online poll to conclude which world celebrity would be cast in wax, and this year Katrina emerged as the winner beating her contemporaries such as Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
