It’s literally going to be Dhoom Again for Hrithik Roshan, just like the song. In 2006, he set a new standard for anti-heroes in Bollywood with his stellar performance in Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom 2, playing a thief who steals high profile artefacts and jewels, including the British crown.
And now, the actor is all set to get his own new Dhoom-like series with the production house.
Hrithik, who has proved his action credentials many times over in films like Bang Bang, Agneepath and the Krrish series, is undoubtedly up to the adrenaline-filled task.
The Dhoom films – three in total – have pitted actors Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra against anti-heroes played by John Abraham, Hrithik and, most recently, Aamir Khan. Each has been a blockbuster hit but there has been some criticism to the effect that the series is now losing its charm.
