“Daawat-e-Ishq” has minted more than “Khoobsurat” in the past four days, but they didn’t meet the expectations of the audience, says an expert.Anil Kapoor and his daughter Rhea had joined hands with Walt Disney Studios to co-produce “Khoobsurat“, a remake of the 1980 Rekha starrer “Khubsoorat”.
Habib Faisal’s directorial “Daawat-e-Ishq” also couldn’t pull in the audience to theatres much.It minted Rs.15.63 crore in four days, said a statement.”It has done better than ‘Khoobsurat‘, but not great,” said Thadani.The movie’s stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra had also gone on a food yatra to promote the film.
