Even after 19 years of its release, the Bollywood fans can’t get enough of the romantic saga. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol immortalised love in Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and such has been the craze that when Maratha Mandir decided to draw curtains on the film after running it for 1009 weeks, it was flooded with requests from fans to screen the film for another week.
Yes! DDLJ fans have a reason to rejoice as Maratha Mandir will screen the film till next week. According to a leading daily, hours after it declared the end of the record-breaking 1000 weeks screening of DDLJ, the management extended the screening by a week bowing down to the public pressure.
