The Bombay High Court on Tuesday allowed actor Salman Khan to travel to Dubai for a show, but with conditions.
The court said he will have to furnish his detailed travel itinerary of three days, starting May 27 to 30.
The actor, who is out on bail after being convicted in the 2002 hit-and-run case, is set to perform at an award function in Dubai on May 29.
Vacation judge Justice Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi also asked Salman to inform the authorities about his flight number and time, besides address of his stay in Dubai and the name of his hotel.
The court has even asked him to furnish his mobile as well as the landline number of the venue he is supposed to stay at. The Bombay HC also made it clear to the Bollywood actor that he would have to surrender his passport to the police within 12 hours of his return.
“Salman Khan has to furnish an additional cash security of `2 lakh apart from informing the Indian consulate of his arrival and departure when he reaches Dubai. Salman will have to handover his passport to the investigating agency within 12 hours of his arrival back in India,” said Justice Phansalkar-Joshi.
