This is not the first time that the first look or the poster of a Bollywood movie has been found to be an exact copy – ‘inspired by’, for decency’s sake – of that of a Hollywood film. Films like Heroine, Kites, Ghajini, Happy New Year have all been accused of being exact rip-offs of Hollywood movies, and of a book cover, in Heroine’s case. Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur is the latest to join the club of these Hollywood-inspired posters.
