Stills from director Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha, starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, are doing the rounds of social media. One shows the couple standing on a cobbled street.
Another still went viral after appearing in the Mumbai Mirror on July 28. This one features Deepika and Ranbir, dressed in nautical-themed outfits, holding hands in the backdrop of an ocean.
Very few details about Tamasha are available for public consumption. The scene that is pictured in the still above is believed to have been shot in the French island destination of Corsica.
Mumbai Mirror reports that Ranbir and Deepika are fans of the comic series Asterix, which is how the end up in Corsica where one of the adventures of Gaulish comrades Asterix and Obelix is set.
Tamasha, which releases next year, is a reunion for those involved. Deepika and Ranbir co-starred in 2013 hit Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Imtiaz directed Deepika in 2009′s Love Aaj Kal, and Ranbir and Imtiaz last collaborated on Rockstar (2011).
