Theirs seemed to be match made in heaven (after a lot of confusion) but Tanu and Manu have now Moved On from each other. A new song from Tanu Weds Manu Returns reveals the fissures that developed in their relationship.

Both songs that have been released so far trace the fluctuating dynamics between Tanu and Manu, but in reverse. In Move On, Tanu falls out love with Manu. In Banno, the previously released song, Manu falls in love with Tanu’s lookalike Datto.

If Banno mapped Manu’s fresh romance with “National level ki athletes” Datto, it also left a nagging question – what went wrong in Tanu and Manu’s love story?

‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’: Kangana Ranaut rocks as desi ‘Banno’!

‘Queen‘ of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut has nailed it yet again with her new found swagger for ‘Banno’. ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ makers recently released the first song titled ‘Banno’ on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The track is peppy and has retained certain elements of the original folk song. Kangana has managed to hit the right chord and looks absolutely fantastic essaying her character.

Earlier, the trailer took fans by surprise. Kangana plays a double role in the film, one of which is a Haryanvi character. The girl has perfected the Haryanvi accent, we must say.

R Mandhavan aka Manu who married Tanu in the first part, was recently clicked dressed as the groom, perched atop a mare, making us wonder whom is he marrying in the sequel?

In these exclusive pictures, Madhavan looks not a day older than Manu of the 2011 sleeper hit directed by Anand L. Rai. So whom is he marrying this time? The love od his life Tanu or her lookalike Datto?

Tanu Weds Manu Returns moves forward from where the first part ended i.e Tanu and Manu’s marriage.

In the sequel Kangana will be see in a double role. The lovable Tanu and tomboy Datto, an athlete from Haryana. The sequel is reportedly a take off on 1960s classic Mera Saaya.

Tanu Weds Manu 2 shoot begins in Lucknow

On Day 1 of the shooting, director Aanand L Rai shot in the heart of Hazratganj, at Luv and Kush Bhargava’s home, which was converted into Jimmy Sheirgill’s house for the scene. According to writer Himanshu Sharma, the sequel begins from where the first movie had ended, with Tanu and Manu’s wedding at Safed Baradari in Qaiserbagh. “This movie is the story of Tanu and Manu’s life four years hence,” informed Himanshu. Rai, on the other hand, said he was glad to be back in Lucknow. “Thank you for having us back in this beautiful city of yours,” said he.
