Actor Hrithik Roshan‘s ex-wife Sussanne Khan has requested people to “stop speculating” about her personal life.

On Sunday, Hrithik and Sussanne were spotted at a restaurant in Mumbai with their children – Hrehaan, 10, and Hridhaan, 8.

Recently, Sussanne voiced her support in favour of Hrithik, who is in the midst of a legal battle with actress Kangana Ranaut. Sussanne had tweeted:

Hrithik Roshan may be going through a harrowing time courtesy a bitter fight with Kangana Ranaut, but that seems to have brought him closer to ex-wife Sussanne Khan.

Last week, Sussanne tweeted a picture of them in happier times in a show of support to the 42-year-old actor as he battled accusations from the Queen actress about their “clandestine affair”.

And yesterday morning, the former couple was spotted at a SoBo restaurant enjoying lunch with their kids, Hrehaan, 10, and Hridhaan, 8.

A source says, “It was Hridhaan’s birthday yesterday and they all went out for lunch like one happy family to a Santa Cruz restaurant. This was perhaps the first time since their divorce in November 2014 that Hrithik and Sussanne together hung out with the kids. They looked comfortable in each other’s company; they smiled and laughed a lot.”

The ex couple were also joined by actress Sonali Bendre, Sussanne’s sister, Farah Khan Ali and sister-in-law Malaika Parekh (Zayed Khan’s wife).

“Being doting parents that they are, Hrithik and Sussanne wanted to make Hridhaan’s birthday a memorable affair,” adds the source.

Sussanne Khan Slams ‘Gossip Mongers Spreading Lies’ About Her

Sussanne Khan, ex-wife of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, has denied reports of an impending wedding with ‘one of Hrithik’s close friends.’ The interior designer she says the ‘gossip hurts’ as ‘families and human feelings’ are involved.

In her clarification, Sussannne said, “Persistent speculation in the media has made me realise that idle Bollywood gossip mongers, who are influential, are insistent on spreading rumours and lies about me.

Stories are fabricated on upcoming weddings and meetings in coffee shops. It is irresponsible press if incorrect stories are published. There are families and human feelings involved and it hurts people when false gossip is passed off as true. I am a single working mother and take tremendous pride in the way I live.”

The grapevine had been rife with the speculation that the ‘close friend’ is actor Arjun Rampal, whose proximity to Sussanne has been viewed as the reason behind her divorce. Earlier this week, the grapevine was abuzz with the news that Sussanne and Arjun had been spotted together at a coffee shop.

Sussanne had previously dismissed reports that Arjun was a reason behind her split with Hrithik, and had said that nobody was to be blamed. “There is no reason. Sometimes you have to do this because of a situation,” she had stated at an event.

Hrithik and Sussanne got married in in 2000 and have two sons – Hrehaan and Hridhaan. They called it quits in December 2013, just a few days before their 13th marriage anniversary.
