The Indo-Canadian actress was in Surat for a Holi event titled, ‘Play Holi with Sunny Leone’. Post the incident the organisers were anxious if she would perform at the event.

But being a thorough professional, Sunny danced to popular Bollywood numbers for 15 minutes, as promised. However, she strictly informed the organisers that she would come to the event only if there is no media inside.

Sunny, along with her husband Daniel Weber had arrived at the hotel early in the morning. Soon, a drunk intruder entered her room and asked for odd favours from her. Since the intruder had left the door open, she did not let the incident take an ugly turn and took things under control.

However, Leone lost her cool when a reporter from a national news channel started interviewing her in the corridor. Just a few questions in, the reporter asked Leone, “You were a porn star earlier, now you are a film star. So how much do you charge now?” (Also Read: What is Sunny Leone ‘Passionate’ About? Listening to the question, Leone got angry asked the reporter to repeat the question and the reporter said, “How much do you charge for a night program?” She didn’t take a minute to react and slapped the journalist in front of the hotel staff and visitors and went back to her hotel room.

Reacting to the incident, her husband Daniel Webber told mid-day, “Sunny has given an apt reply to the reporter so we are not filing any police complaint. The organisers were also college kids so we do not want their careers to be damaged. But henceforth, Sunny will think a thousand times before coming to Gujarat.

For her first attempt, she borrowed the Minions’ Banana song, reinforcements provided by husband Daniel Weber and friend Yusuf Ibrahim.

“They are useless and baseless comments. It is unprofessional. You would never see an actor or actress speaking bad in the way they have. So it’s their problem, I don’t care about it,” Sunny told reporters here last evening.

When asked about the level of acceptance towards her now that she is working with A-list actors, Sunny said, “As far as the acceptance goes I have acceptance from my fans. from this channel MTV, being in films, which is important. When it comes to doing film with A-listers, that we will see in the future,” Sunny said.

The actress is back to hosting the eighth season of MTV Splitsvilla with VJ Rannvijay Singh.

“I had lot of fun, it was nice doing this season. It was a completely different experience as Rannvijay’s personality is loud, funny, he is energetic. It is infectious. It is easy to work with him,” Sunny said.

“I always wanted to be part of a show like this, being associated with a brand like MTV. It is like a dream. We had lot of fun. It has been a great journey. This season Ranvijay made it more fun. We worked hard, shot for a long time but had lot of fun as well. The contestants are amazing,” she said.

Splitsvilla is based on an American dating reality show.

On some tips to people who have been through break-up and how to deal with it, Sunny said, “There were few moments when we saw contestants breakdown. It is not the end of the world, things will change, it is going to get better. One must get a good night nap, it is okay to be upset. When you are breaking up with someone it is not going to be easy.”
