In a Snapchat video, Sonam wondered how Kareena would feel about social media while shooting for Veere Di Wedding and ends the short chat by saying, “Bebo, we love you.”

For the uninitiated, Kareena belongs to the other Kapoor family of Bollywood, who’ve kept their distance from social media in general. The exceptions are her uncle, actor Rishi Kapoor, his wife Neetu Singh and their daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.

Kareena’s actor husband Saif Ali Khan isn’t much of a social media buddy either and the exceptions at the Pataudis are Soha Ali Khan and her husband Kunal Khemu.

Kareena, who is expecting her first child with Saif, will film for Veere Di Wedding till October, when she will be in her second trimester. Her pregnancy will reportedly be incorporated in the film’s script. After October, she will next shoot for the film three months after her delivery in December.

The makers of Veere Di Wedding – Rhea and Ekta Kapoor – knew about Kareena’s pregnancy before they signed her for the film.

Veere Di Wedding, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, also stars Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

Battle for Bittora an upcoming comedy film to be directed by Shashanka Ghosh is based on the novel of the same name authored by Anuja Chauhan. “It is not shelved. The film is on hold due to date issues. It will happen but not immediately. It’s a good story and we will make it,” Shashanka told PTI.

The film will reunite Sonam and Fawad Khan, who have earlier worked together in Khubsoorat. However, there were reports that Fawad had apparently walked out of the film due to date issues but Shashanka remained tight-lipped on these details. “Sonam will be part of the film. The rest of the actors, let’s see,” he said.

Sonam had reportedly started shooting for Salman Khan‘s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and then Neerja which delayed the film. Sonam will play an animation expert who will contest elections in Bittora opposite an ex-royal. The film is produced by Rhea Kapoor under the banner Anil Kapoor Films Company.

Sonam will reportedly start working on a film titled Veerey Di Shaadi.

On Sonam’s latest release Neerj, Mr Kapoor said: “There is a kind of emotional reaction in the entire family. We feel that this film somewhere is blessed by Neerja herself. Whatever good is happening with the film is all because of her.”

The movie is based on the hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi, Pakistan on September 5, 1986.

It is not clear if the recording is from the fateful flight. Neerja Bhanot died a heroine after helping save 359 lives on board Pan Am Flight 73 which was hijacked at Karachi. Ms Bhanot is crediting with hiding the passports of American passengers on the plane, preventing the hijackers from identifying and picking them off. Eventually, she helped evacuate everyone on board but was shot while leading a group of children to safety.

Neerja, co-produced by photographer Atul Kasbekar, co-stars Shabana Azmi as the slain stewardess? mother Rama Bhanot. Composer Shekhar Ravjiani makes his acting debut in a small but pivotal role.

The film is scheduled to release on 12 November 2015. The film will also be release in Telugu and Tamil versions as Prema Leela and Mei Maranthaayo Anbe respectively. Khan’s voice is dubbed by Ram Charan Teja in its Telugu version.
The film will also have its release in Pakistan on the same day as in India on November 12.

“Sonam is the best style icon in Bollywood. Nobody can be compared to her,” Athiya, daughter of Suniel Shetty, said at an event organised by Femina in Mumbai.

When asked about being compared to Sonam, she said: “Sonam has made a mark of her own. She is beautiful and one of the most talented actresses we have today.”

Athiya said that her own style is very simple.
