NH10 Beijing screening: Many firsts for Anushka Sharma

NH10 actress-producer Anushka Sharma and director Navdeep Singh were in Beijing to attend a screening of their movie at the Beijing International Film Festival, in China, and Anushka looked stunning in an ivory and gold ensemble.

NH10, which revolves around honour killing, elicited good response when it released in India, and it was natural for Anushka to be excited over its Beijing screening.

“Leaving tonight 4China to attend my first international film festival where my first film as producer #NH10 will be screened. many firsts,” Anushka tweeted on April 17 before leaving India for the gala.

NH10 sequel to be titled NH12, will explore another dark theme

Besides earning the actress amazing reviews for her brilliant performance, Anushka Sharma’s latest outing not only minted money at the box office, but it also marked her debut as a producer.

ost the success of the road film, the makers revealed that they were interested in exploring the genre further and have come up with a sequel titled NH12.

According to a report published in DNA, Madhu Mantena of Phantom Films, who co-produced the film, was quoted speaking to a leading daily, “We are pleased with the response that this film (NH10) has generated and are ready to take it forwards. The tentative title is NH12 and it is the second in a series of road films that Phantom intends to make in the next few years.”

Anushka Sharma’s NH10 Mints Rs 7.85 Cr on Opening Weekend

Actress Anushka Sharma‘s thriller NH10, which opened on a low note, picked up pace on and minted Rs 7.85 crore on the opening weekend.

NH10, Anushka’s production debut, sheds light on honour-killing and the plight of women in a male-dominated society. The plot revolves around a couple whose road trip goes awry after being attacked by a group of criminals. Directed by Navdeep Singh, NH10 stars Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumaar in pivotal roles.

NH10 has been co-produced by Eros International, Phantom and Clean Slate.

Anushka Sharma Celebrates Love in Main Jo from NH10

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is ensuring that her debut production NH10 includes all the essentials of a good film- an intriguing story, melodious music and drama.

The newly-released song Main Jo from NH10 traces the intense cocktail of emotions brewing between lovebirds Anushka and Neil.

Sung by Nayantara Bhatkal and Savera Mohan, Main Jo is very catchy and hummable.

Directed by Navdeep Singh, NH10 is set to release on March 13.

Release of Anushka Sharma’s NH10 postponed

According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, Anushka Sharma’s NH 10 has hit a major roadblock. The film which was set to hit the theatres on March 6, will now be released a week later, courtesy censor issues, the report stated. Further to the report, Censor Board’s new list of prohibited words on screen is the main reason behind the delay in the film’s release. Since the film is a crime thriller, it is supposed to be equipped with several words which do not fall in line with the new guidelines, the report further stated. Though few scenes and cuss words have been chopped off, a clear picture of the film’s final release is yet to be out, the report concluded.

Like Anushka’s NH 10, the release of Fifty Shades of Grey, in India, too got postponed.

After ‘PK’, Anushka Sharma is now creating waves with her upcoming production venture, ‘NH10’. The film, which also has the actress playing the female lead, has been getting some rave reviews with regards to the recently launched trailer.

Anushka Sharma has shot for a special promotional song for the film titled, ‘Chil Gaye Naina’. Composed by Sanjeev-Darshan, the song is energetic and lyrics are heartfelt.

Anushka Sharma and Neil Bhoopalam star in the thriller being directed by Navdeep Singh, the first trailer of which has been released today.

Anushka plays Meera while Neil playes Arjun whose road trip goes awry as they face the low life of North India on the notorious NH 10.

The trailer has Anushka play a normal modern girl of India who has a love life and has to get brutal in order to defend herself.

The trailer has made quite an impact on the social media as many have praised it and especially the look of Anushka.
