It’s a massive responsibility to play Narendra Modi on screen: Paresh Rawal

After portraying iconic leader Sardar Patel on big screen, Paresh Rawal is looking forward play Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a biopic. The actor said he feels it’s a massive responsibility as an artiste to play the role of Indian Prime Minister.

The yet untitled film, which will go on the floor in August, will be produced by Rawal, the actor’s second production venture after OMG! Oh My God!.

“I will start shooting the Narendra Modi biopic from August. It’s a massive responsibility being an actor to portray a leader of such great stature. He knows that I am playing him in his biopic,” Rawal told reporters here.

Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha’s son Kussh married married NRI Taruna Agarwal in a very private ceremony attended by select Bollywood guests and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The groom’s sister, actress Sonakshi Sinha, who had met Mr Modi along with her parents earlier this month, shared the family’s photograph with Mr Modi on Twitter.

Sonakshi, who looked gorgeous in a mauve lehenga-choli, pearls and a kundan mang-tika, also posted a picture with Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, Tina Ambani and Poonam Dhillon, looking elegant in their wedding finery.

Reacting to PM Modi’s speech at Allphones Arena and inside the Australian Parliament, New South Wales MP Matt Keyne said, ‘Modi is a rockstar. We just had Shah Rukh Khan in Australia and I think Modi is bigger than Shah Rukh Khan. There’s been a tangible air of excitement about his visit, and he has lived up to expectations here in Australia. Not just Indian Australians, all Australians love Modi.’
