Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma to be a part of his government’s Swachhata Hi Seva’ initiative, saying her presence would help in “inspiring others to be part of the movement”. Anushka in reply tweeted that she is honoured to be part of the initiative.

While Prime Minister Narendra Modi was busy hosting his new friend US President Barack Obama in New Delhi, his old friend Salman Khan, was quietly carrying forward his Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan on Facebook (he started a new mission of nominating his followers for the Clean India Drive). After the razzmatazz ended in the Capital, our PM took to his favourite mouthpiece, Twitter to thank his friend from Mumbai.

Mr Perfectionst Aamir Khan has joined hands with several personalities across the globe for Action 2015.

Action 2015 is an initiatives taken to address issues of poverty, climate change and inequality. It is movement which aims at bringing the world on “track for ending poverty, tackling inequality and avoiding dangerous climate change” with the help of everyone.

The initiative was announced by 2014 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai. Aamir has joined the likes of Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Shakira, Bill Gates, Hugh Jackman, Jose Padilha, Bono and Ted Turner among others.

Narendra Modi, Rekha are India’s hottest vegetarian celebs: PETA

People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has named Prime Minister Narendra Modi and veteran actress Rekha as the hottest vegetarian celebrities.

“I’ve been a vegetarian for most of my life and can endorse the fact that it affects the way you think and perceive life”, Rekha said.

Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not far behind. He practises yoga to stay fit and dines on animal-friendly vegetarian foods whenever he meets with international delegates.
