Looks like actor Shahid Kapoor, who is vacationing with wife Mira Rajput away from the hustle and bustle of city life, is having a blast. He shared a short video of a boat ride with Mira on Instagram on Monday.

The video shows Shahid revealing the location of their getaway while Mira peeps into the camera screen. Mira however, only offers a lovely smile to match the grin on Shahid’s face.

Shahid, 35, and Mira, 22, married in July last year and the couple are expecting their first child.

Shahid has recently wrapped the shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, and is busy with the promotions of Udta Punjab, his next film. Udta Punjab also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. It stars Shahid as drug addicted rock star Tommy Singh. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, it hits theatres on June 17.

Rangoon, which releases in October, stars Shahid as a soldier and also features Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.

Actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife of two weeks Mira Rajput braved a battery of cameras waiting outside to pop over to the gym on Thursday. Paparazzi or no paparazzi, visits to the gym are not to be trifled with.

Mira, dressed in black and blue workout gear, stayed close to Shahid who wore a hoodie and sunglasses. The two minders accompanying them were no match for the lensmen.

Actor Shahid Kapoor, who flew to Mumbai on July 8 with his new wife Mira Rajput, thanked his fans for the wedding wishes on micro blogging site Twitter.

Shahid and Mira, who reached Mumbai in the wee hours of July 8, also posed for the paparazzi outside their residence.

Shahid was sporting a classic blue and white combo, while Mira looked lovely in an outfit by Masaba.

Shahid and Mira married in an intimate ceremony in New Delhi on July 7, which was preceded by a sangeet andmehendi ceremony on July 6. The wedding, which was attended by 40-50 odd guests, was followed by a lavish reception in the Capital, only minus the Bollywood glitz and glamour.

A second reception for the couple will be hosted on July 12 in Mumbai. The guest list is expected to include the creme de la creme of tinsel town.

If reports are to be believed, the Haider star will get back to work after a short break. The wedding is to take place in New Delhi in July, and the celebrations are supposed to kick off two days before D-Day.

Once the New Delhi festivities are wrapped up, the newlyweds are to travel to Mumbai, where Shahid is probably hosting a reception for his friends and colleagues on July 12.
