Hrithik Roshan‘s statement has not gone down well with Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel. While Rangoli chose to retaliate by releasing the screenshots of Hrithik Roshan‘s emails, Kangana through her lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee has issued below-mentioned questions which according to her have remained unanswered by Hrithik all this while.
Thursday afternoon got eventful for all Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut fans as Hrithik, after maintaining silence for last four years, finally spoke on his fight with his Kites and Krrish 3 co-actor Kangana. In his statement, Hrithik mentioned how he has never met the Queen actor in person and still took all the allegations put by the actor on him with dignity to discourage any further intrusions.

National Awards: Kangana, Amitabh Bachchan Win Top Honours

Actors Kangana Ranaut and Amitabh Bachchan have won their third and fourth National Awards respectively. Kangana won Best Actress for Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Big B won Best Actor for Piku. Kangana, 29, also won the Best Actress National Award last year for Queen and the Best Supporting Award for Fashion in 2009. This is 73-year-old Mr Bachchan’s fourth win after Agneepath, Black and Paa.

The multi-lingual blockbuster Baahubali has won Best Feature Film and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been awarded Best Director for Bajirao Mastani, which won several other awards. Salman Khan‘s Bajrangi Bhaijaan won Best Wholesome Family Entertainer. Baahubali also won the award for Best Special Effects.

Kalki Koechlin won a Special Jury Award for her performance in Margarita, With A Straw. Tanvi Azmi won Best Supporting Actress for Bajirao Mastani. Nanak Shah Fakir won Best Film on National Integration. Masaan won Best Debut for a Director.

Visaranai won Best Tamil Film while Dum Laga Ke Haisha won Best Hindi Film.

Remo D’Souza won Best Choreography for Bajirao Mastani. The film also won Best Production Design, Best Cinematography and other honours.

Piku‘s Juhi Chaturvedi and Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ Himanshu Sharma shared the award for Best Screenplay and Dialogue. Vishal Bhardwaj won Best Adapted Screenplay for Talvar.

Gujarat was named most film-friendly state.

The National Awards were announced in New Delhi on Monday.

Today’s Big Release: Kangana and Imran’s Katti Batti

Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan’s much awaited film Katti Batti releases today.

Directed by Nikhil Advani, Katti Batti features Kangana as the free-spirited Payal and Imran as Maddy, who falls in love with but ultimately loses her. Their love story ends five years later, along the way they’ve begun living together but discover that commitment is a notion that is not limited to sharing a bedroom.

Kangana recently said in an interview that her role in Katti Batti has been her toughest yet. “This character is the most tragic character I have played so far. Tragedy to another level. I was crying all the time, I lost my appetite and broke down on any situation,” Kangana told news agency IANS.

MSG – 2: The Messenger, which stars Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim, releases with far less ado than the first film MSG: The Messenger opened in February.

Gangs Of Wasseypur writer Zeishan Quadri directs Meeruthiya Gangsters, featuring Jaideep Ahlawat, Sanjay Mishra, Nushrat Bharucha, Aakash Dahiya, and Mukul Dev.

Co-presented by Anurag Kashyap, Meeruthiya Gangsters is based on the increasing number of extortions in Meerut. The film narrates the journey of six youngsters who become kidnappers. Cricketer Suresh Raina has sung a song in the film.

Meanwhile, Hollywood has Baltasar Kormakur’s film Everest and Scott Cooper’s Black Mass on offer. Black Mass is a crime thriller which features Johnny Depp, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton and Dakota Johnson in pivotal roles. Based on the book Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance Between the FBI and the Irish Mob by Dick Lehr and Gerard O’Neill, the film narrates the journey of gangster Whitey Bulger who is later discovered to be an FBI informant.

Everest stars Jason Clarke, Jake Gyllenhaal and Emily Watson, and revolves around a mountaineering journey which is affected by a relentless snow-storm.
