Satya Paul collaborates with the superstar wife to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Always dreamt of owning a celebrity’s wardrobe? Well, now you can. Iconic Indian brand Satya Paul has collaborated with Gauri Khan to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Her debut Spring Summer’15 collection will include pieces inspired by a celebrity’s signature style and unique aesthetic.

Titled ‘A Tropical Wonder’, this collection takes cue from an exotic holiday and comprises lush prints and vivid florals rendered on casual and occasional wear separates like sheer tunics, flowing kaftans, shift dresses and fluid saris. The colour story is a mix of aquas, pastels and fresh citrus in the brand’s signature style of abstract line art and painting.

Gauri Khan to design Satya Paul’s 30th anniversary line

Fashionista Gauri Khan, entrepreneur and wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, will lend her creativity to Satya Paul to mark the fashion brand’s 30th anniversary. She says it will reflect her personal style.

“My signature line of clothing for Satya Paul will showcase a distinctive aspect of my own personal style. Co-creating and endorsing a line for one of India’s finest brands will be a new experience for me,” Gauri, whom is also a successful interior designer, said in a statement.

Her debut clothing and accessories collection for Satya Paul is called ‘A Tropical Wonder’.

Filmmaker Karan Johar had yet another party at his Mumbai home on January 13. The usual suspects showed up in various versions of evening wear.

Bollywood power couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan arrived together, as they do – she in white and black topped by a shimmering jacket, he in denims. Only one half of other superstar couple, the Khans, showed up however. Gauri Khan attended in a dressed-down ripped jeans and tank look, once again minus husband Shah Rukh Khan. SRK, a close friend of Karan’s, also skipped his last party on November 21, 2014.

Gauri Khan and AbRam to do a cameo in SRK’s Happy New Year

If a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan‘s son AbRam was not enough for you, here’s a good news. AbRam will make an appearance in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year along with his mommy dear Gauri Khan.

Gauri Khan recently revealed to a leading daily that she will be doing a guest appearance in the film along with their youngest son AbRam. Gauri last appeared in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om during the end credits.
