Model and reality TV star Gauahar Khan, who was slapped by a youth for wearing short dress while shooting a reality show, recently turned up at an awards function with a bodyguard. According to reports, the actress has hired Shahid Kapoor‘s bodyguard to ensure her safety.

Earlier this month, the story took an interesting turn when the man who had slapped the actress, claimed that he did so because he was paid by Gauahar for it; which she rubbished.

Gauahar Khan’s attacker has alleged that the actress paid him for slapping her in public. But the actress says it is the “most ridiculous claim”.

In November, Gauahar, who was hosting a reality show in Mumbai, was slapped by Mohammad Akil Malik for reportedly wearing skimpy clothes.

And now, Malik has alleged that he was paid to slap her and that she had promised to get him a role in a film.

“This is my one and only response to the most ridiculous claim made by an accused who attacked me, went to jail for it and came out only to prove even more what a threat he is to normal living in India for girls, and also the weak stature even the media gives to a girl who especially belongs to the film or TV world,” Gauahar said in a statement.

Actress Gauahar Khan, who was slapped by a man on the set of a reality show, says laxity in the security arrangements led to the incident.

An audience member on the sets of ‘India’s Rawstar’ attacked her for wearing skimpy clothes.

She said, “If any lapse has happened, then it was in security. Without security check how could you give him the card? Isn’t it terrorizing?

Model and reality TV star Gauahar Khan, who was slapped by a youth for wearing short dress while shooting a reality show, said on Tuesday that she was “hurt and shocked” by the attack but the incident has made her determined.

The assault happened on Sunday while Gauahar was hosting the finale of ‘India’s Raw Star’ at Film City in Mumbai. Twenty four-year-old Akil Malik, an audience member, slapped her during the break of the show. He said that being a Muslim woman, the actress should not have worn a short dress.

The 24-year old youth who slapped Bollywood starlet and TV host Gauahar Khan during a reality show shoot, has reportedly told the Mumbai police he slapped her to so that she never wears a skimpy dress again.

Akil Malik turned moral police and took it upon himself to ‘teach Gauahar a lesson’ as he felt since he was sexually attracted to girls who wear short skirts, other youths could too.

Blatant and smug Malik told police that he had slapped Gauahar to help other youths like him. He said that girls wearing short clothes “damage the brains” of youngsters and instigate them to commit crimes.

Gauahar Khan slapped by a 24-year-old during ‘India’s Raw Star’ finale

Actress Gauahar Khan, who hosts musical reality show ‘India’s Raw Star’ was slapped by a 24-year-old man during the finale, yesterday.

The man identified as Akil Malik was detained after the incident. He was apparently against Gauahar Khan wearing short dresses during the show.

A police officer said, “A man from the audience slapped the anchor. She shouted and her colleagues called the Police control room. And we arrested him. He has been charged for molestation.”

A source close to the Queen star informed a daily, “Kangana is currently shooting for a film in Delhi. She was approached by the brand last week and was offered Rs. 5 crore for it. Although she has been briefed about the product, she wants to take some time to make up her mind.”
