Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur lock lips at Srinagar’s Nishat Bagh

Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor who are stationed in Kashmir for the shooting of Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor, canned a lip-lock scene during the weekend.

The romantic scene which involved an intensely passionate kiss between the two, was shot at Srinagar’s Nishat Bagh. Aditya who has been shooting in Kashmir for quite some time was joined by Katrina a couple of days ago. Ranbir Kapoor barred from meeting Katrina Kaif

Katrina started the shoot Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor in Srinagar on Friday, amidst high security. First day of the shoot saw a funeral scene being filmed at the famous Nishat Bagh. Katrina looked stunning dressed in all white. The scene being shot was that of Rekha’s funeral hence the white attire.

Katrina Kaif shoots in Kashmir for Fitoor amid tight security

Katrina Kaif started the shoot Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor in Srinagar on Friday, amidst high security.

The actress who has been provided with three-tier security for her four day shoot in the city. First day of the shoot saw a funeral scene being filmed at the famous Nishat Bagh. Katrina looked stunning dressed in all white. The scene being shot was that of Rekha’s funeral hence the white attire.

The garden was being guarded by CRPF personnel and members of J&K police. Regular vehicles were not allowed and Katrina was accompanied by AK-47 wielding personnel.

Fitoor, an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ ‘Great Expectations’ novel starring Rekha, Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur. It is the first Bollywood movie being shot in Kashmir after last year’s devastating floods.

Rahul Bhat to star opposite Katrina Kaif in Fitoor

Rahul Bhat, who received accolades for his role in Ugly, is the new addition to the star cast of Fitoor. The actor will romance none other than Katrina Kaif in Fitoor, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Rekha.

Rahul will play the role of Bilal who hails from Pakistan and will be a part of the love triangle. The role that he has agreed to do was earlier offered to Saif Ali Khan and Fawad Khan. Rahul’s spokesperson confirmed the news that he will be a part of the film and there is a love triangle between Aditya, Katrina and Rahul.

Revealed: Begum Rekha’s Look in Fitoor

Veteran actress Rekha’s look in an upcoming film Fitoor, which is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, was revealed across social media platforms. The film which is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations will see Rekha in the role of a temperamental begum, based on the character of Ms Havisham.

In the novel, Ms Havisham is a bitter spinster who was left at the altar and continually wears her wedding dress.

In the first look, Rekha is seen sitting gracefully under a tree, in red anarkali and gold net dupatta, designed by fashion maestro Manish Malhotra (maybe her character’s wedding outfit). The scene is shot in Kahsmir’s Nishat Garden.

Aditya Roy Kapur turns artist for ‘Fitoor’?

Bollywood’s new age actor Aditya Roy Kapur, might be seen as a drunkard in most of his films (courtesy ‘Aashique 2′), but he shall stun his audience with ‘Fitoor’. Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming venture is reportedly based on Charles Dickens’ ‘Great Expectations’.

According to a leading daily, the actor has been practising quite hard for his role of an artist in the film. The news report suggests that Aditya has been trying his hand at sketching Katrina Kaif‘s portrait, as and when he gets time.
