Popular Pakistani import, Fawad Khan, is back in town with Filmfare’s black lady for company.

And as far as the media is concerned, the actor who was so accessible before the release of his debut film, is suddenly incommunicado. But he’s been spotted dashing in and out of the Dharma office, giving credence to speculation that he could join the cast of Karan Johar‘s next, Aye Dil Hai Mushkil, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma.

Bollywood latest heartthrob Fawad Khan seems to be on the wish list of many directors and the latest buzz has it that he will be seen romancing none other than Aishawarya Rai Bachchan in Karan Johar‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Rumours are rife that Khoobsurat actor has been approached for the film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

Fawad, who is popular Pakistani actor, made his Bollywood debut opposite Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat and also bagged an award for the best debut (male). It seems his work has impressed Karan too and the actor has been approached for the film.

Khoobsurat Heads Towards Happy Ending Due to Positive Word Of Mouth

Khoobsurat, starring Sonam Kapoor and the Pakistani sensation Fawad Khan, might not have minted Rs 100 crores in a week, but the Shashanka Ghosh directed film has managed to earn a profit, thanks to positive word-of-mouth, says its co-producer.

Anil Kapoor and his daughter Rhea had joined hands with Walt Disney Studios to co-produce Khoobsurat, a remake of the 1980 film Khubsoorat starring Rekha.

Made at a Rs 12 crore budget, it hit 800 domestic screens on September 19.

In India, it has collected Rs 19.10 crore in one week.

It also released in 18 international territories like North America, Britain and Pakistan at across nearly 300 screens and minted over $2 million till Thursday.

Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor attended the Beating Retreat ceremony to promote their film ‘Khoobsurat’.

The presence of the celebrities last evening here not only brought smiles to the faces of Indian soldiers but also to their Pakistani counterparts who were equally excited to have a glimpse of them.

Sonam, 29, and the 32-year-old Pakistani actor shook hands with Pakistani Rangers and also exchanged pleasantries.
