Baby Ahead of Dolly Ki Doli in Box Office Race

Within three days of its release, Akshay Kumar’s Baby has grossed over Rs 35 crore, a figure much ahead of the over-Rs.10 crore mark that Sonam Kapoor‘s Dolly Ki Doli has managed.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Baby earned Rs.36.07 crore in just three days, read a statement.

Also starring Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Danny Denzongpa, Kay Kay Menon and Taapsee Pannu, the movie revolves around an undercover unit, formed to keep an eye on the movements of terrorist groups.

On the other hand, Dolly ki Doli, produced by Arbaaz Khan, has garnered Rs.10.75 crore in three days.

Directed by Abhishek Dogra, Dolly Ki Doli features Sonam Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat and Rajkummar Rao, and revolves around a con woman who robs her grooms on the wedding night and runs away.

Sonam Kapoor promotes Dolly Ki Doli on Comedy Nights with Kapil

Week after week, a bevy of stars come on Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote their upcoming films and Sonam Kapoor is not far behind. The actress recently made it to the TV show to promote her film Dolly Ki Doli.

Giving her company were none other than Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Varun Sharma and Archana Puran Singh. This was Sonam Kapoor‘s third stint on the show after Bewakoofiyan and Khoobsurat, however film’s producer Arbaaz Khan made his debut on the show with Dolly Ki Doli.

Arbaaz Khan also tweeted a picture from the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil.

nd the makers of ‘Dolly Ki Doli‘ have taken the copyright from him and imaginatively used it in a song picturised on Sonam Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat and Rajkummar Rao.

And though we don’t get a glimpse of fashionista Sonam Kapoor in the first look, it has definitely piqued our interest. The video features three different men with three very impressive tattoos bearing the name ‘Dolly’ on their arms. Sonam Kapoor, who was last seen in ‘Khoobsurat’, took to Twitter to share the motion poster.
