Saira Banu shared the news of getting back the keys of Dilip Kumar’s Pali Hill Property which was in the possession of an real estate firm. The yesteryear beauty looked beautiful and happy as she flaunted the keys while posing for the shutterbugs.
Thespian superstar Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu was handed the keys of their Pali Hill property on Tuesday which was in the possession of real estate firm Prajita Developers Pvt Ltd. The veteran actor’s wife shared the news on Twitter as she wrote, “Message from Saira Banu ‘Sahab (Dilip Kumar) and I took possession of the property which has been his residence for decades. Hon’ble Supreme Court restored the possession to us. Sahab is overjoyed. Sharing some photos. Thank you, friends n fans innumerable who have prayed for us.’”

Dilip Kumar’s Birthday Plans Cancelled But he’s Celebrating on Twitter

Indian cinema’s grandest old man is celebrating his birthday on social media, more power. Screen legend Dilip Kumar is 93 today but has cancelled festivities because of the destruction caused in Chennai by rain. On Twitter, though, it’s a different story.

’93 retweets tomorrow,’ Dilip saab wrote while reposting this tweet from MouthShut boss Faisal Farooqui.

An early birthday wish came in from Javed Akhtar, who wrote several films that Dilip saab starred in – Kranti, Shakti, Duniya and Mashaal.

Dilip Kumar, real name Yusuf Khan, is considered one of the greatest actors to have worked in Indian cinema. His acclaimed bod of work includes films such as Madhumati, Naya Daur, Devdas and Mughal-E-Azam.

Saira Banu: Inshallah, Dilip Kumar should be fine soon

Dilip Kumar who was hospitalised on Saturday night and diagnosed with bronchopneumonia, is responding well to treatment. Senior physician Dr. Jalil Parkar, who is treating the thespian, told Mirror, “On day one, he had cough, cold and breathing problems. But he is much better now. He is not in the ICU, he never was. We have put him in a VIP suite and we are giving him antibiotics intravenously.”

A much relieved Saira Banu informed that though he had been administered antibiotics orally while he was at home, the IV drip seems to have done him a lot of good. “Inshallah, he should be fine soon,” she said.

Udaya Tara Nayar, a family friend of the 91-year-old actor and the compiler of his autobiography, Dilip Kumar: The Substance and the Shadow, told Mirror that he had been unwell for the past couple of days, which Saira attributed to the change in weather. But when the cough and cold persisted, she shifted him to Lilavati hospital on the physician’s advice and the 91-year-old was diagnosed with pneumonia.
