After giving a glimpse of jazz music in Fifi song, the makers are out with a new song Naak Pe Gussa. And, the track definitely takes you back in time. Anushka Sharma, as the sensual jazz singer in Bombay Velvet club, performs with perfection. The soulful ballad is a perfect tribute to the jazz music of that era.

Sung by Neeti Mohan and composed by Amit Trivedi, Naak Pe Gussa is a slow number but it still maintains the flavour of the 60s.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor rises to be an influential name in Bombay of the Sixties in the second trailer of Bombay Velvet.

Watch Ranbir Kapoor‘s journey from being a cage-fighter to becoming ‘bigshot’ Johnny Balraj with the help of Karan Johar, who plays a Parsi businessman named Kaizad Khambatta in the film.

Kaizad, the antagonist of Bombay Velvet, helps Johnny rise to power by devising money minting techniques, even if they are unlawful in nature. But their eventual fallout is chronicled in the second trailer of the film.

Quirky headgear, royal costume and a microphone- Raveena Tandon gives a new twist to jazz singers of the 60s in the upcoming film Bombay Velvet.

We saw Anushka Sharma lip-sync to Geeta Dutt’s song in Fifi and going by the first look it seems Raveena will be no less in the film.

Though the actress has been missing from the film’s trailer, her first look in the film has been doing the rounds on the social media. It shows Raveena, who plays a jazz singer in the film, giving a performance at a night club.

Bombay Velvet Motion Poster: Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoors Love-Hate Relationship

Actors Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor love each other like they hate each other in the motion poster for Anurag Kashyap?s film Bombay Velvet.

Usually, a film’s motion poster precedes the trailer – Aamir Khan‘s PK had a whole series of motion posters out. The makers of Bombay Velvet however are bucking this trend. The motion poster – featuring Ranbir and Anushka locked in a tango of love and struggle for power – follows in the wake of the trailer and two songs from the film.

The second song makes an appearance in the poster with Anushka?s character Rosie Noronha singing Mohabbat Buri Bimari, punctuated with machine gun fire. As the intensity of firing increases, the lead character appear before a bullet-hole heart-shaped background. Ranbir looks suave and deadly, while Anushka is uber-glamorous and lethal.

The much awaited song ‘Mohabbat Buri Bimari’ from the film Bombay Velvet is out

Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma starrer Bombay Velvet is probably the most awaited film of the year, and the filmmakers are leaving no stone unturned marketing the vital high-points of the film, which includes Anushka’s much talked about persona for the role of a jazz singer.

Set against the backdrop of 1960′s, the song is composed by Amit Trivedi, and embellished adeptly by the flavours of bygone era.

Sung by Shalmali Kholgade, it is a peppy reminder of jazz, saxophone , and tuba.

Anurag Kashyap has proficiently recreated the magic of 60′s, with Anushka looking exquisite in a gold dress, sashaying away to glory.

After launching the first look of Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Bombay Velvet’, the makers of the film have now released Anushka Sharma’s appearance in the film. The actress took to Twitter to share the first glimpse of her look from the Anurag Kashyap film, in which she plays a Jazz singer.

Based on Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’, ‘Bombay Velvet’ set in early 1950′s , will see Ranbir as a street fighter. The screenplay is jointly written by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Vikramaditya Motwane. The film also features KJo, Remo Fernandes, Kay Kay Menon, Vivaan Shah and others. Produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star Studious, ‘Bombay Velvet’ is slated to release on May 15, 2015.
