Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar has had a stupendous run at the box office since its release on August 11. And now, the film has crossed another milestone with its week 4 collections. The film has become Akshay’s highest grosser till now.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has become Akshay Kumar’s lifetime highest grosser with a collection of Rs 133.60 crore, as confirmed by director Shree Narayan Singh. Till Friday, the title was held by Akshay’s 2012 film, Rowdy Rathore that also starred Sonakshi Sinha. While Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is Akshay’s second film of the year after Jolly LLB 2, 2017 is turning out to be a super year for the actor. Both the films have crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark and have also been receiving appreciation from all corners.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan box office collection day 7: Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s film directed by RS Prasanna has held it’s own at the box office so far and has even made it to the Rs 20 crore club. However, with Arjun Rampal’s Daddy set to release this Friday, will the collections of Ayushmann’s movie be affected?
Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan directed by RS Prasanna is doing well so far and has collected Rs 21.96 crore so far. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures, “#ShubhMangalSaavdhan Fri 2.71 cr, Sat 5.56 cr, Sun 6.19 cr, Mon 2.53 cr, Tue 2.85 cr, Wed 2.12 cr. Total: ₹ 21.96 cr. India biz.”
The collection has been steady for Shubh Mangal Saavdhan so far. The film has crossed Rs 20 crore, and it looks like the content has won audiences over. It did receive mixed response from the critics, but a strong word of mouth helped the film, proving that producer Aanand L Rai chose yet another winner.

While many Hindi films in the recent past have grabbed headlines thanks to the CBFC’s imposition of random cuts, ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, directed by R S Prasanna, which revolves around performance anxiety in men, has been given a U/A certificate without any deletions of scenes or dialogues.
Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar as Mudit and Sugandha respectively, the film’s story intends to throw light on an issue which has been essentially spoken about in bedrooms. Producer Aanand L Rai, praising the CBFC’s ability to look at the film…

YRF’s latest offering, Dum Laga Ke Haisha has released all over and the lead actress of the film, Bhumi Pednekar has garnered rave reviews for her performance. Before making her film debut, Bhumi was on Yash Raj Films’ casting panel. Since Bhumi had strictly been told not to talk to the media before film’s release, we could never get a glimpse of the real-life Bhumi, who is not as fat as she looks in the movie. But now, the beautiful bubbly girl has caught her fans by surprise by making a public appearance.

The moment we stumbled upon this picture, we couldn’t really recognize Bhumi. We must say that in this picture shared by designer Nikhil Thampi, she looks almost half her weight in the film. It would be interesting to see a slimmer Bhumi in her next two ventures with YRF.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s last release Hawaizaada might have failed to impress the audiences but the actor is all set for his next film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The trailer of his upcoming film is out.

The film marks the debut of Bhumi Pednekar and the theme of the film revolves around the concept of opposites attract. Bhumi stars opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the film, which narrates the journey of a couple, who get married due to their family pressure and shows how they move on from finding faults in physical appearances and finding love.

The trailer gives a glimpse of their life.

Going by the trailer, the film promises to be entertaining with a blend of romance, thrill, comedy and dance.
