The UAE collections stands at total Rs 2.03 crores.

According to reports, the second day collections stands at Rs 8.75 crores making the grand total of Rs 15.75 crore at the domestic market.

The movie’s collections are expected to improve over the weekend,

Varun and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have walked home with glory for their ingenious performance.

Sriram Raghvan’s debut film Ek Haseena Thi (2004) was a stupendous thriller and it worked well for Saif Ali Khan who played the lead role. Raghvan handles the genre well and he gets the best out of his actors.

He is back with an action thriller and that’s what he does best! Varun Dhawan plays the lead in Badlapur and one of the most talented actors of our times Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the bad guy.

Raghav’s (Varun Dhawan) wife and child are killed all of a sudden under unfortunate circumstances, they just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and that’s where the revenge drama begins. You may think it’s not rocket science to predict what all Raghav is going to do after that but the director makes sure he doesn’t stick to the stereotype formula.

The Central Board of Film Certification, which has stirred up many controversies of late with its decisions, has given an `A’ certificate to Varun Dhawan’s revenge drama Badlapur. Mirror has learnt that the film was screened yesterday for the censors who were willing to give the Sriram Raghavan directorial a ‘UA’ rating, provided that the makers agreed to major cuts recommended by the Examining Committee.”But Sriram categorically told the Board that he’s very happy with an ‘A’ certificate as long as no scenes are cut. This caused some surprise as most filmmakers put up a fight,” a source close to the development informed.

It’s my first dark film, yet very entertaining,” said Divya at the sidelines of the Renault Star Guild Awards 2015 function on Sunday.

“Every character has many layers. It’s interesting as an actor to find different layers in yourself and in the other actors. The energy on the sets was awesome. And Varun, I think, is going to be fantastic in the film,” she added.
