Salman Khan shares a special bond with his younger sister Arpita Khan. The Tubelight actor, who is on his Da-Bangg tour at present, took to social media and shared a moment from the concert that made him nostalgic, leading him to walk down the memory lane.
Salman Khan is a family man and puts his kin before anything else. We have seen time and again how the Tubelight actor stands as a guard for his family whenever required. He has even never shied away from sharing candid and nostalgic moments with them. Today, Salman revealed a small moment from the past, which will surely make you nostalgic too. The actor, who at present is busy with his Da-Bangg tour, shared a video in which a kid is sitting on a man’s shoulder to be able to look at Salman’s performance on stage. This moment reminded Salman of the time when he had held Arpita Khan on shoulders to help her see Michael Jackson’s performance back in 1996. He tweeted, “This reminds me of 1996 Micheal Jackson concert where I carried Arpita on my shoulders for the entire show #memories #SKinUK”

Salman Khan to attend sister Arpita’s reception at Mandi tomorrow

Salman Khan‘s sister Arpita’s wedding to Aayush Sharma six months back was the most lavish and B-Town’s talked about event of last year.

Now, brother Salman along with his entire family will be gracing the grand reception on May 25, at Mandi, Himachal Pradesh which is also the hometown of his brother-in-law Aayush.

According to reports, security has been beefed up outside the reception venue and the estimated guest list is also expected in large numbers.

This will be the first visit for Salman who has resumed his shooting for `Bajrangi Bhaijaaan` post bail in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

The happenings at Salman Khan‘s sister Arpita’s wedding are still doing the rounds. Buzz is that apparently she was not too happy with the fit of her wedding outfit.

The bride felt that the designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla had not made it exactly how she desired. When Arpita complained to the designers, they told her it was due to her body type.

But when her brother, Salman Khan, got wind of it, he was furious. The designer duo, it is believed, called up Jaya Bachchan who is close to them. Apparently, Jaya then rang up Salman to put in a word on their behalf and explain the situation.

After Arpita’s Reception, Mumbai’s Photographers Lift Ban on Salman Khan

Mumbai’s paparazzi have lifted their ban on Salman Khan, in force since July, after the Bollywood actor invited them for his sister Arpita’s reception on November 21.

A report in DNA India quotes Rajneesh Kakade, Secretary, Bombay News Photographers’ Association (BNPA), “The photographers got an invitation from Salman for the reception and we thought it was a good way to come together and lift the ban. It meant that Salman has no problem with us. We thought the actor had a problem with us because of the way his bodyguards behaved with us and consequently enforced the ban. But this gesture from Salman spoke otherwise. We also have no personal egos. A marriage reception is an auspicious occasion and our best wishes are with the couple.”

Actor Salman Khan‘s little sister Arpita just got married but this story isn’t about her – it’s about how actress Katrina Kaif might be next.

After the wedding ceremony, Arpita dropped a kaleera for Katrina, who is rumoured to be dating actor Ranbir Kapoor. In the picture, Katrina, dressed in an anarkali by Anamika Khanna, is seen examining a part of Arpita’s kaleera, while Arpita ‘hunts’ for another prospective bride.

Dropping kaleera on the heads of unmarried young women is the North Indian equivalent of throwing the bridal bouquet – if a kaleera comes off on a particular head, that young woman might soon be headed to the shaadi mandap.

Arpita’s brother Salman, thought to be a confirmed bachelor, also took the kaleera test, but there’s no word on whether the kaleera favoured the 48-year-old actor.
