“Sonakshi and Arjun were given to me as a gift by Boney sir. I was very happy that I didn’t have to run behind the actors,” said the director.

“I have seen Arjun’s earlier films but when I met him for the first time, I saw the gravity in his face… and at that point I told him you are my Pintu, the next door boy from UP in my film. His character in the film is very instinctive and innovative so it was interesting to bring the character alive on screen,” he added.
