‘Alone’ review: Queen of horror Bipasha Basu in an unimpressive venture

Human mind is a slave to its impulses. The genre of erotic horror glorifies the extreme of some of the more ghastly impulses. The audience of such films swing between the thrills of fear and flesh. Even though the genre has picked up in Bollywood, but the horror part of it stays largely absent from the films.

Bhushan Patel, the maker of ‘Ragini MMS2′ and ’1920: The Evil Returns’ comes back with ‘Alone’ starring the queen of horror – Bipasha Basu. The movie has been ‘inspired’ from the 2007 Thai movie of the same name.

‘Alone’ more than just a horror movie: Bipasha‘Alone’

Actress Bipasha Basu says her upcoming movie ‘Alone‘ is more than just a horror film as it deals with relationship and turmoils of a married couple.

The film has been directed by Bhushan Patel and also stars TV actor Karan Singh Grover, who plays the male lead opposite the 35-year-old actress.

“‘Alone’ is not a horror film for me. It is a passionate love story for me. Through our characters we have tried to show a realistic love story. Everyone who is married or who have been in a relationship will identify with this. Many aspects of relationships has been shown… So the film is not only sexy. There is a lot of depth,” Bipasha said in an interview.

Queen of horror films Bipasha Basu is back with another horror flick Alone also starring TV actor Karan Singh Grover in the lead role.

The trailer of the film is out and we must say it is scary and will definitely send a chill down your spine.

Directed by Bhushan Patel, the film is a story of conjoined twins Anjana and Sanjana played by Bipasha Basu. The death of one sister leads to a series of chilling incidents.

Karan is playing Bipasha’s husband and from the trailer we can say that there are lots of steamy scenes between the two.
