Tabu and Ajay Devgn teaming up for a rom-com, to release on Dussehra 2018

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming Golmaal Returns will have him doing both action and comedy. Now, it will be interesting to see what the Baadshaho actor has in store for his fans in this new rom-com that also stars Tabu opposite him. It is set to hit the theatres on Dussehra next year.
Ajay Devgn is coming back in a romantic role and we can’t keep calm. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, this untitled rom-com is all set to hit the theatres on Dussehra next year, which will fall on October 19, 2018. The film also stars Tabu and a younger female actor, the announcement for which is yet to be made. Ajay and Tabu have earlier collaborated in films like Drishyam, Vijaypath and Takshak. They will also be sharing screen in Golmaal Returns.

Ajay’s Shivaay releases this Diwali and may clash with Karan Johar‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

Here’s What Kajol Tweeted About Ajay Devgn’s Padma Shri

This year’s list of Padma honours was released by the government on Monday and actor Ajay Devgn, 46, will receive the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award.

Ajay said in a statement: “I feel deeply humbled yet elated to receive such honor from my own country. This announcement today makes it special for me when I’m filming abroad for my new film Shivaay. I’d like to acknowledge that Padma samman puts an extra responsibility on me and I promise to serve my country for as long as I can.”

On Twitter, he wrote:

I am humbled into silence with this honour from my country.

His wife Kajol, who received the Padma Shri in 2011, tweeted:

Another Padmashri in the family. Congrats to my other half with lots of love & pride !
Last seen in 2015′s Drishyam, Ajay Devgn stars in Shivaay – which he also directs and produces – this October. Kajol, 41, starred in last month’s Dilwale, opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Drishyam a ‘Must Watch,’ Says Arvind Kejriwal on Twitter

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that Ajay Devgn’s latest film Drishyam is a “must watch”.

He posted on microblogging site Twitter account:
Watched “Drishyam”. A must watch.

Filmmaker Nishikant Kamat’s Drishyam managed an opening weekend collection of Rs 30.03 crores. The movie is an official remake of the Malayalam film of the same name.

Drishyam an emotional thriller film, also stars actors Tabu and Shriya Saran. Co-produced by Viacom 18 and Kumar Mangat, the film released on July 31.

Before the film’s release, BJP President Amit Shah had conveyed his best wishes to Ajay for the movie.

He tweeted:
