Shraddha Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur Wrap Ok Jaanu

Filmmaker Shaad Ali’s film Ok Jaanu, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, has been wrapped.

Ok Jaanu is a remake of the hit Tamil film Ok Kanmani. Aditya and Shraddha have featured together in the hit film Aashiqui 2.

On Instagram, Shraddha shared a picture with the cast and crew of the film.

Produced by Karan Johar, Ok Jaanu revolves around a young couple and deals with the subject of live-in relationships.

Ok Jaanu is scheduled to release on January 13, 2017.

Today’s Big Releases: Fitoor, Deadpool

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Bollywood has more than one romantic movie to offer today. Abhishek Kapoor’s much-awaited movie Fitoor hits screens today. Fitoor, which is based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel Great Expectations, stars actors Tabu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.

Katrina and Aditya play Noor and Firdaus, the desi versions of Estella and Pip. Tabu is cast as Begum, the Indian Miss Havisham. A majority of the film has been shot in picturesque Kashmir.

Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam’s Sanam Re also releases today. Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, the movie co-stars Rishi Kapoor in a key role.

Hollywood on the other hand, has a mix of movies to offer, with Deadpool, How to Be Single and Oscar nominated Trumbo releasing today. Actor Ryan Reynolds plays protagonist Deadpool in the much-anticipated superhero movie.

How to Be Single tracks the story of a group of friends, who are in search of love in the city of New York. Trumbo, starring veteran actor Bryan Cranston, who holds an Oscar nomination for Best Actor, is based on the life of Hollywood scriptwriter Dalton Trumbo, who was blacklisted and jailed in the anti-Communist era.

Aditya Roy Kapur: Doubt I’ll play second lead again

Aditya Roy Kapur, who has been enjoying fame post being cast as the lead actor in Aashiqui 2, after playing the second fiddle in a few Bollywood films, hopes that he doesn’t go back to the days when he used to be cast as second lead.

After his debut film, the 29-year-old went on to share screen space with Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar. Then in 2013, Aashiqui 2 — about a fallen singer Rahul Jaikar, portrayed by Aditya — “changed things” for him.

Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur lock lips at Srinagar’s Nishat Bagh

Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor who are stationed in Kashmir for the shooting of Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor, canned a lip-lock scene during the weekend.

The romantic scene which involved an intensely passionate kiss between the two, was shot at Srinagar’s Nishat Bagh. Aditya who has been shooting in Kashmir for quite some time was joined by Katrina a couple of days ago. Ranbir Kapoor barred from meeting Katrina Kaif

Katrina started the shoot Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor in Srinagar on Friday, amidst high security. First day of the shoot saw a funeral scene being filmed at the famous Nishat Bagh. Katrina looked stunning dressed in all white. The scene being shot was that of Rekha’s funeral hence the white attire.

Aditya Roy Kapur turns artist for ‘Fitoor’?

Bollywood’s new age actor Aditya Roy Kapur, might be seen as a drunkard in most of his films (courtesy ‘Aashique 2′), but he shall stun his audience with ‘Fitoor’. Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming venture is reportedly based on Charles Dickens’ ‘Great Expectations’.

According to a leading daily, the actor has been practising quite hard for his role of an artist in the film. The news report suggests that Aditya has been trying his hand at sketching Katrina Kaif‘s portrait, as and when he gets time.

We hear that actor Aditya Roy Kapoor’s Bandra home has a new resident. No it’s not a person. It is Katrina Kaif‘s poster.

You wonder why is Katrina adorning the wall of Aditya’s home when it should have been his lady love Shraddha? Is Aditya a die hard Katrina Kaif fan or is he taking his ‘Fitoor’ tad too seriously? And what does good friend Ranbir has to say about it?

Well, there’s no need for alarm. The reason behind the presence of Katrina’s poster and a canvas in Aditya’s house is indeed Fitoor. Since the actor is playing a painter and Katrina his muse in Fitoor, he practices sketching Katrina on the canvas at home whenever he gets time.

Yahoo Movies Review: Daawat-e-Ishq

‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ is a delectable love story. And what I like about this flossy romance is that it manages to pack-in a neat little message for prospective grooms and dowry-seeking parents.

Usually I love Parineeti Chopra, who plays the feisty Gulrez Qadir, in this film. Gullu is good but Tariq Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapur) is even better. Our Lucknowi cook Taru, with his surma-lined eyes, unpolishedEnglish and brash manners is a sure charmer.
