Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says his three-year-old granddaughter Aaradhya is an inquisitive child and very mature for her age.

Aaradhya is the daughter of star couple Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The 72-year-old doting grandfather said he loves being with her and listening to her “homemade stories”.

“The little one gets precocious by the hour .. And talks non stop… With as many questions as one could possibly imagine… It’s the best time to be with her.

“Her homemade stories, her banter of what she feels about situations, her friends, her family, her toys and her home…!! These are indeed the happiest days of their lives… before they get exposed to this big bad world!” Bachchan posted on his blog.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan spends part of almost every Sunday with his fans, making a personal appearance to greet the cheering throng who gather outside his Mumbai home in what is practically a weekly ritual. Aaradhya Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya’s little bundle of joy, celebrated her third birthday in grand style on November 16. The Bachchan home in Mumbai was festooned with balloons and party decorations for a splashy bash to which Aaradhya’s friends, many of them accompanied by their famous parents, were invited.

Actress-producer Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra brought their little son Viaan. Hrithik Roshan, on daddy duty, shepherded sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan out of the car.
