Congratulations are the order of the day, as the weddings bells chimed in sunny California for actress Preity Zinta and beau Gene Goodenough who got married on February 29 in Los Angeles.

Preity had denied marriage rumors for the longest time, but her good friends Sussanne Khan and designer Surily Goel let the cat out of the bag. Posting pictures of themselves in California, the two, who we gather were also bridesmaids, hinted at the wedding.
An official confirmation is still awaited from Preity, who had been dating Gene, a financial analyst, for the past 18 months.
According to sources, Preity will have a reception in April, in Mumbai, when she introduces her husband to the Bollywood fraternity. There were also rumors that Preity and Gene wanted to keep the wedding as quiet and would auction their pictures and donate the money to charity.
