Anand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns has become the first movie to touch the Rs 100-crore mark this year. To celebrate the success of the film, its team will throw a party in Mumbai on Tuesday (June 9).
Lead actor R Madhavan also celebrated his birthday recently with a party. The second week’s collections for the film, which hit the theatres on May 22, have also been good, earning it the title of a ‘blockbuster’.
All renowned celebrities are expected to turn up for the event. But the limelight would be reserved for lead actress Kangana Ranaut, whose double role has left the audience wanting more. Once the promotions and other bashes were over, Kangana had flown to her hometown in Manali, Himachal Pradesh to spend some time with her family.
