The trailer of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the first of actor Salman Khan‘s two films this year, will release with Kangana Ranaut‘s new film Tanu Weds Manu Returns on May 22.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan, co-starring Kareena Kapoor, is currently being shot in Kashmir. Salman flew home to Mumbai yesterday to appear in court for today’s verdict in the hit-and-run case. The actor was found guilty of drunkenly driving over five pavement dwellers in 2002, killing one. He was convicted on the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and sentenced to five years in jail.
The Kabir Khan-directed film is expected to release on July 17. Salman’s other film is Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, with actress Sonam Kapoor, which has been shooting near Rajkot in Gujarat.
