Bollywood fans have a reason to rejoice as Detective Byomkesh Bakshy aka Sushant Singh Rajput will greet them a week before the initial release date. The release date of Dibakar Banerjee’s crime thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! has been preponed and the film will now hit the theatres on April 3.
The film, based on the detective character Byomkesh Bakshi created by Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, was previously slated to release on April 10.
The intriguing trailer of the film was released two months ago and it did make many heads turn. The film is set in war torn Calcutta during the 1940s and its follows the first adventure of Byomkesh Bakshy.
