Actress Veena Mailk, who has found herself yet again embroiled in a controversy, has filed an appeal along with husband Asad Bashir Khan against the 26 years imprisonment sentenced by a Pakistani court for alleged profanity.
The couple has strongly condemned the court’s decision calling it “harsh” and is happy that they are getting support from worldwide. According to a leading website, Veena said, “We are very happy to see our voice has been heard in all corners of the world. All the leading publications from the world over have covered the issue strongly.”
